A word about “Whistle, Harp, & Bow Xmas”

Posted in: Uncategorized | No Comments | Posted on by Rod

This CD from 2007 contains imaginative instrumentals of French and English carols, some G.F. Handel and J.S. Bach, and one contemporary Christmas song. Rod Phillips plays 12 instruments on the album, one for every day of the 12 days of Christmas! Harp is the featured instrument, along with flutes and whistles, and cello. This is my Dad (Ron Phillips, b. 1922)’s favorite CD– he plays it year-round, as it is holiday music but not commercial. Delightful sounds of the little Lorien harp in traditional and light jazz settings.
